Last week’s question brought almost an even split in the comments with a narrow victory for those willing to have their most embarrassing moment made into a movie.
Not to be overshadowed, those who didn’t give a second thought to throwing open their diaries & sharing with the world their innermost thoughts made a strong showing. And then there was the clever commenter who planned to create a fake diary to share. Cheating? Maybe. But as I said in the comments, the only reason I’d veto it is because I want to use it as my answer.
Regardless, it was sheer genius, I tell you. And I can’t veto brilliance like that.
And what did choose? My diaries are incredibly boring, even for me. They are merely a sorting place for all that needs sorting in my mind. Also, I think I’ve spewed enough revealing things here in the kasbah to give a glimpse into the strange workings of my funny little brain without inflicting more oddity into the world.
So, instead of sharing the innards of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Writer, I’ll collaborate with Joss Whedon to bring my embarrassing moment to the big screen. Because he’ll know how to put just the right badass spin on it. Obviously.
And now, on to this week’s question…
Would you rather be a fly on the wall anywhere, any time in history
– OR –
play the Heineken Departure Roulette game?
(If you don’t know what this is, you’ll need to watch the short video.)
So which will it be, adventurous readers? Will you travel back in time to be a witness to a fascinating historical event? Or will you impulsively travel wherever the Departure Roulette board sends you? Either way, pack your bags and be sure to take lots of photos. Sit, sip, and spill the beans on where your next adventure will be. I always love to hear from you.
